It was just a small reminder of the wonders of God&#8217;s creation.<\/p>\n<p>I love going for walks and looking at the things God has made. At this time of year it&#8217;s great to watch how quickly the little buds on the trees transform into leaves. Everything &#8220;greens up&#8221; so quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Last year Casey and I had the wonderful opportunity to go hiking through the Redwoods. These majestic trees cannot help but inspire awe.\u00a0However, we have to maintain a proper perspective. As incredible as these trees are, we should be in awe of the God who made them. His attributes are on display\u00a0throughout His creation (Romans 1:20).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Make\u00a0it a point to get out and look\u00a0at what God has\u00a0made and thank Him for it. Although\u00a0our sin has brought so much ugliness and suffering into this world, there are still\u00a0remnants of beauty. Just imagine what the new heavens and new earth will look like. It will be a place with no more death, sin, and suffering and\u00a0we will live with God\u00a0(Revelation 21:3-4).
