Past Three Months

Signing my contract at Answers in Genesis.

It has been over three months since my last blog post. I promise to do better in the future. Since that last post, I have been quite busy and things are finally settling down a little bit.

In late June we bought a house in the Cincinnati metro area because I started working at the Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky. So we spent much of July and August packing, moving, and unpacking. Also, I started my new job in late July and have been thoroughly enjoying it. I’m a writer and editor in the web department at Answers in Genesis.

I also had several speaking engagements/events during the summer months. I gave a mini-creation conference at a church in Iowa, had a book table at Lifest in Oshkosh, and spoke at a Relay for Life event in Southern Wisconsin on the night before the big move. What an honor to provide a motivational message and opening prayer at an event with so many cancer patients and survivors.

I completed four seminary classes during the summer and now only have a thesis to write before I am (hopefully) finished with school forever. I am finishing up a Th.M. (Master of Theology) in Church History and Theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

All three Truth Chronicles books are now available and we have been receiving some great feedback. Yesterday, Answers in Genesis featured the series in their lead article for the day. Check it out at http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/2010/09/20/truth-for-the-youth. Our publisher is putting together a website for the series. It’s still under construction, but several features are in place. Check it out at http://www.truthchroniclesbooks.com/

I hope to post more soon about what I’ve been up to.  Thanks for stopping in and sorry for taking so long to update this blog.
